During the alpha
Nobody is charged during the closed alpha. Where billing is switched on, it runs on Stripe’s test system: Settings → Your Primsy plan lets you choose Solo or Studio with a Stripe test card number, and a real card must not be entered there. Your booking page takes online bookings once you choose a plan; until then you can set everything up and add bookings yourself. On Solo, the one Studio feature — a second active team member — stays off for as long as you are on Solo; team members who were already active keep working. The prices above are the ones we intend to charge, and you will be told before anything real is due.
Texts
Texts are switched off for everyone during the alpha. Once they launch, each plan includes texts to your clients: 300 a month on Solo and 1,000 on Studio, counted from your billing date. A text counts once however long it is, and your clients’ replies are not counted. Past the included texts, each delivered text will be 4 cents, added to your invoice at renewal: the next one, or a later one if it can’t be added in time. A text reported undelivered before then is not charged, and one reported undelivered later comes off your later extras. A text with no delivery report counts as delivered once a day has passed since it was sent; until then it waits for a later invoice. Extra texts stop at 500 a billing period. As a safeguard, texting also stops once about three times the texts a billing period allows have been attempted in it, failed ones included: its included texts, plus 500 when extra texts are switched on. If your plan ends, extra texts go only on a renewal invoice made before it ended, and otherwise are not charged unless you subscribe again: then they go on your first renewal. Until extra texts are switched on, a business that has used its included texts sends no further texts. Texts come with a plan: a business without one, or whose plan has ended, sends none. A number of your own is $2.50 a month on top — see Your texting number. How long a text can be before it splits is on How big is a text?
